MINISTER OF EVANGELISM

"I am privileged to minister in the areas of Education & evangelism. Educationally: my responsibilities are Sunday morning Bible Studies that include over three hundred and fifty people each week studying God’s word. As an educational minister it is my privilege to minister to the Sunday school leadership team that number close to a hundred people. We provide training opportunities for the teachers and assistants, as well as monthly planning and leadership meetings. Also under the umbrella of education you find the discipleship ministry; by early Feb. we will have eight discipleship groups doing systematic studies of scripture enabling participants to grow spiritually why building relationships that will last a life time. The area of evangelism is also one of my responsibilities. This entails Monday night outreach. On Monday evenings we not only visit evangelistic prospects and new families in our community, but we also visit those who have visited Holly Creek."

I was born in Calhoun Georgia and Grew up on the North end of Whitfield County in Dalton, Georgia
Education: Pleasant Grove Elem., North Whitfield HS (3 yrs),
First Graduating Class of Northwest High School.
Graduate of Moody Bible Institute

Service: In the Ministry for twenty three years, Pastor for eighteen years Been at Holly Creek 5 yrs, God brought me to Holly Creek through the association between Holly Creek and Moody Bible Institute.

Family: I am blessed with a wonderful wife, Tammy. Three great sons, Caleb, Matthew, and
Joshua, and a precious daughter Haley. Tammy works closely with the childrens
Ministry, AWANA, and the Womens Ministry Leadership Team.

I count it a wonderful privilege to be a part of what God is doing at Holly Creek. Our family has been a part of the Chatsworth Murray County area for over fifteen years. Our love, and the relationships that have been formed within this community and Church continues to grow. We as a family feel blessed to find ourselves nestled within the beautiful north Georgia mountains as we see, and are a part of what God is doing.
