I count it a wonderful privilege to be a part of what God is doing at Holly Creek. As part of the ministry team at Holly Creek my passion is to not only see people introduced to the Lord Jesus Christ, but to also see them become thriving disciples within the body of Christ. Worship, small group bible study and discipleship are foundational in seeing this passion become a reality. These three areas is where, as the body of Christ we connect more deeply with Him, as well as with other believers. I would like to encourage you to personally experience the true beauty of Christ where God promises each who follows Him a “future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11)

John is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and Tennessee Temple Seminary. He has served as pastor in Dalton, Murray county and Summerville Georgia since 1983. John serves within the Georgia Baptist Convention as a certified Sunday School Mentor, and Church Space Analysis Consultant, he also serves as a Baptist Builder, Disaster Relief, and Chaplain. In 2001 ministry doors have opened for John to travel to Central America to provide leadership for annual youth camps.

John and his wife Tammy have three sons, Caleb, Matthew and Joshua, and one daughter Haley. There is little that he enjoys more than spending time with his family. He also enjoys the outdoors, fly fishing and woodworking. Tammy serves as registered nurse and is a gifted small group student ministry teacher and leader.

We are both thankful and grateful for the privilege God has granted in bring us to His great family at Holly Creek!
